Privacy Policy

The Mandate is built with strict privacy-first architecture. We do not require account creation, logins, or collection of personal details (such as real name, email, physical address, or phone number) to play. In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety Declaration, the table below outlines all data types collected, processed, and transmitted by the app and its integrated SDKs.

All locally stored data is used exclusively to provide and improve your in-game experience:

• Saving and restoring your game progress between sessions
• Remembering your display and audio preferences
• Tracking tutorial completion so prompts are not repeated
• Enabling daily check-in rewards without server-side accounts

We do not use your data for profiling, behavioural tracking, selling to third parties, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.

Certain optional gameplay features use a developer-operated AI proxy server to generate dynamic campaign events and story scenarios. When these features are triggered:

• Only non-personal game context is sent — e.g. current in-game turn number, fictional approval ratings, selected in-game policies, and scenario choices.
• No personal user identifiers, real names, email addresses, device IDs, or location data are included in any AI request.
• AI API provider keys are secured exclusively on the server backend and are never exposed to the client device.
• Generated content is fictional narrative only and is discarded after the game session.

The following third-party services may be integrated. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

All game data is stored locally on your device and remains until you explicitly delete it or uninstall the app. We do not retain copies of your data on any developer-controlled server.

• Game save data: Retained on device until cleared by user or app is uninstalled
• AI request parameters: Not retained — processed in real time and discarded
• Ad/purchase data: Retained per Google's data retention schedules

You have full control over all locally stored data at any time:

• Clear save data: Use the Settings → Reset Game Data option within the app
• Delete all app data: Go to Android Settings → Apps → The Mandate → Storage → Clear Data
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device
• Opt out of personalised ads: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation

The Mandate is a political strategy simulation intended for users aged 13 and above, consistent with its content rating under Google Play's International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) guidelines.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us at auraappsai@gmail.com.

• All network communications use HTTPS / TLS encryption
• AI proxy server credentials are stored server-side only — never in the app binary or client code
• No sensitive personal data is transmitted, so the attack surface is minimal
• The app does not use cleartext HTTP traffic (usesCleartextTraffic="false")

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of The Mandate after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
