in.themandate.gameThe Mandate is a fictional political strategy simulation game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any political party, government body, public figure, election authority, or media organisation in India or elsewhere.
Real places, public political offices, historical election context, party names, and public figures may appear solely for simulation, parody, educational, or contextual gameplay purposes. All generated scenarios, events, and outcomes are entirely fictional and must not be treated as factual reporting, political opinion, or real-world assertions.

Section 01 • Information We Collect

No account required: We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any personally identifiable information (PII) to play the game.
Section 02 • How We Use Information
#s2All locally stored data is used exclusively to provide and improve your in-game experience:
- Saving and restoring your game progress between sessions
- Remembering your display and audio preferences
- Tracking tutorial completion so prompts are not repeated
- Enabling daily check-in rewards without server-side accounts
We do not use your data for profiling, behavioural tracking, selling to third parties, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.
Section 03 • AI Scenarios & Cloud Services
#s3Certain optional gameplay features use a developer-operated AI proxy server to generate dynamic campaign events and story scenarios. When these features are triggered:
- Only non-personal game context is sent — e.g. current in-game turn number, fictional approval ratings, selected in-game policies, and scenario choices.
- No personal user identifiers, real names, email addresses, device IDs, or location data are included in any AI request.
- AI API provider keys are secured exclusively on the server backend and are never exposed to the client device.
- Generated content is fictional narrative only and is discarded after the game session.
Section 04 • Advertising & In-App Purchases

Advertising: The Mandate may display banner and/or rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use the Android Advertising ID (Ad ID) on your device to serve contextual or personalised ads in accordance with Google's policies. You can opt out of personalised ads via your Android device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
In-App Purchases: Optional digital content (e.g. a Supporter Pack) may be available for purchase. All transactions are processed exclusively by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or process your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Google.

Section 06 • Data Retention
#s6All game data is stored locally on your device and remains until you explicitly delete it or uninstall the app. We do not retain copies of your data on any developer-controlled server.
- Game save data: Retained on device until cleared by user or app is uninstalled
- AI request parameters: Not retained — processed in real time and discarded
- Ad/purchase data: Retained per Google's data retention schedules
Section 07 • Your Rights & Data Control

- Clear save data: Use the
Settings → Reset Game Dataoption within the app - Delete all app data: Go to
Android Settings → Apps → The Mandate → Storage → Clear Data - Uninstall: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device
- Opt out of personalised ads:
Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation
Section 08 • Children's Privacy
#s8The Mandate is a political strategy simulation intended for users aged 13 and above, consistent with its content rating under Google Play's International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) guidelines.

- AI proxy server credentials are stored server-side only — never in the app binary or client code
